Role Overview
We are looking for an organised and professional Receptionist to join our team in Malaysia. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience while providing administrative support to the wider office.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome and assist visitors, clients, and guests in a professional manner.
Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls and enquiries to the relevant departments.
Manage incoming and outgoing mail, courier deliveries, and office correspondence.
Maintain the reception area and ensure it remains tidy and presentable.
Coordinate meeting room bookings and assist with meeting arrangements.
Provide general administrative support to the HR, Finance, and other teams as required.
Assist with office supplies, stationery orders, and inventory management.
Maintain visitor records and support office access procedures.
Coordinate with building management and external service providers when necessary.
Assist with other ad hoc administrative duties to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
Requirements
Previous experience in reception, front office, or administrative support is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A professional and approachable manner.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Ability to multitask, prioritise responsibilities, and work independently.
Good command of English; proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage.
A positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues across different teams.
