The Position
Our bank client is seeking to fill a Sr. Commercial Loan Closer/Servicer role located in the Houston, TX area. The position is responsible for performing various loan operations department functions to ensure the efficient operation of the area.
The opportunity has a generous salary of up to $85K and a benefits package. (This is not a remote position).
Preparing commercial loan documents for closing (LaserPro)
Work with outside attorneys to draft loan documents as needed.
Verifying accuracy of all loan documents prior to loan closing
Preparing post-closing document review (terms and conditions)
Processing loan payments and loan advances accurately and in a timely manner.
Responding to internal and external customers regarding loan inquiries.
Performing second-day review of multiple transactions to verify accuracy.
Reconciliation of bank-controlled accounts.
Authenticating client wire instructions.
Initiating loan funding by deposit, check, or wire.
Providing administration support to staff as required.
Supporting invoice processing including entry in various forms, distribution, and scanning or photocopying.
Responding to customer service calls and inquiries.
Other duties as assigned.

You also bring the following skills and experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
One or more years of loan operations experience.
Accounting experience preferred.
Knowledge or experience with Fiserv and Doc Links is a plus.
Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize workflow in a high-volume environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Exercises good judgment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
