English Content Writer (AI-Assisted) - Talent Pool.

CONTRACTREMOTEDATA & ML

About Slasify

Slasify is a global HR platform that helps businesses hire, pay, and manage teams in 150+ countries and 130+ currencies — without setting up local entities. Through our Employer of Record (EOR), global payroll, and contractor management solutions, we take on the compliance, tax, and administrative complexity of international employment so you can focus on growth.

We put the human in HR tech. Rather than relying on software alone, we pair smart technology with real people — dedicated account manager support, localized expertise, and hands-on guidance at every step.

Headquartered in Singapore, with teams across the Americas, Europe, and Asia-Pacific, we deliver expert support with local understanding wherever our clients grow.

Slasify — Where People Thrive.

The Role

We are building a talent pool of freelance writers for upcoming content needs. We will review applications and contact suitable candidates as assignments become available.

We have built an AI-assisted content workflow that creates briefs, first drafts, and editorial reviews. We are looking for a writer who can run this workflow, check every fact, and turn AI drafts into articles that sound human and are safe to publish.

You will not write from a blank page, but you need a solid understanding of SEO and GEO. You will review each AI-generated brief and catch anything that looks off before drafting starts. Your value is your judgment: knowing what is wrong, what is missing, and what does not sound right.

Location: Remote — open to freelancers worldwide | Type: Freelance, paid per article

What You Will Do

  • Run our content workflow: Use our AI tools and writing guides to create a brief, a first draft, and an editorial review for each assigned topic.
  • Review the brief: Check that the keyword, angle, and structure make sense before drafting. Flag anything that looks off.
  • Match search intent: Make sure every article answers what the reader actually searched for. If a section does not help answer that question, fix it or cut it.
  • Verify every fact: Our drafts mark every legal, tax, and payroll figure for checking. You find the current figure on the official government source and add an inline link.
  • Edit for voice: Remove generic AI phrasing so each article sounds clear, specific, and human.
  • Check SEO and GEO structure: Make sure keywords, headings, FAQ answers, and internal links follow our guidelines.
  • Find and prepare images: Download images from Canva, convert them to WebP (under 150 KB), and write descriptive alt text for each one.
  • Submit and revise: Send the finished article to our content lead and update it based on feedback.
  • Proofread: Review existing articles for grammar, clarity, and outdated facts when needed.

Our Writing Style

  • Clear, direct, and helpful
  • Simple words and short sentences, because many of our readers are not native English speakers
  • American English spelling
  • No em dashes

What to Expect

  • About 4 to 6 articles per month
  • 1,200 to 2,500 words per article, depending on the topic type
  • Article ready for review within 5 business days
  • Up to 2 rounds of revisions included
  • You will use your own paid Claude account
  • All work is confidential. You will sign an NDA before you start.

Pay

  • Full article (brief to final draft, including images): from USD 50
  • Proofreading an existing article: USD 20
  • Rates for longer or more complex articles are open to discussion.

Must-Haves

  • Fluent English Writing: Native-level English writing and editing skills, with clear grammar and a natural style.
  • SEO & GEO Knowledge: Working knowledge of search intent, keyword placement, heading structure, and how AI search tools pick up content. You should be able to spot problems in a brief before drafting starts.
  • AI Tool Experience: Hands-on experience using AI tools, such as Claude or ChatGPT, to create professional content.
  • Fact-Checking Skills: Strong habits for checking facts, and comfortable finding and reading official government sources.
  • AI Voice Editing: Able to spot AI-sounding text and rewrite it in a natural, human way.

Nice to Have

  • B2B Content Experience: Prior experience writing for a B2B audience, ideally in HR tech, fintech, or SaaS.
  • GEO/AEO Expertise: Familiarity with Google’s E-E-A-T principles (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) and how to show them in content.
  • Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of global remote work, cross-border compliance, payroll, or EOR.
  • AI Workflow Experience: Experience with prompt-based or multi-step AI workflows.
  • SEO Tools: Experience with Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Ubersuggest.
  • Canva Pro Account: Gives you access to a wider range of images.

How to Apply

In the application, please include the following:

  1. Your resume
  2. 2 to 3 links to published articles. B2B or regulated topics are preferred.
  3. A few sentences on how you use AI tools in your writing today, and how you check what they produce.

Shortlisted candidates will complete a paid editing test. We will send you an AI-generated draft, and you will fix it for accuracy, voice, and structure.
