Product & Packaging Compliance Manager (m/f/d).

FULL TIMESALES & MARKETING

WHY CFAB?

Behind every campaign, every product, and every growth milestone stands a team that takes ownership, moves fast, and delivers results. That is what cfab is all about.

What looks like a strong brand from the outside is powered by high performance, fast execution, and people who work with real intensity to drive our growth every day.

As a Product & Packaging Compliance Manager (m/f/d), you will make sure every product we sell in the EU and the US meets all product, packaging and labeling requirements, from fabric and care labels to cartons and polybags. You will turn regulatory text into clear requirements for our suppliers and teams, and release artwork and packaging before production.

You will work closely with Buying, Product, our sourcing team, suppliers and external legal and EPR partners. At the same time, you will establish the processes, standards and controls that make compliance work consistently across all our brands and markets.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Monitor, interpret and implement EU and US product, packaging and labeling legislation, including GPSR, the EU Textile Labelling Regulation, EU packaging law (PPWR, national EPR) and US FTC textile, care and country-of-origin labeling rules
  • Own materials, packaging and labeling compliance for every product, from fabric, cartons and polybags to hangtags, care labels and product labels, including importer and manufacturer identification and traceability
  • Review and release supplier artwork and packaging proofs before production and before shipment
  • Establish governance processes, standards and controls so requirements are applied consistently across brands, suppliers and markets
  • Act as internal counterpart to external legal counsel and EPR/packaging registration partners
  • Maintain technical documentation and compliance records, including GPSR Responsible Person duties and retention obligations
  • Manage non-conformities with suppliers, from root cause analysis to corrective actions, and train Buying, Product and the sourcing team on requirements

WHY YOU WOULD BE A GOOD FIT FOR US

  • Degree or vocational training in Law, Textile or Product Management, Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field, or comparable practical experience in product compliance
  • Work experience in a similar position, ideally in apparel, textiles or consumer goods sold in the EU and US
  • Ability to read and apply regulatory text directly, not only checklists, and turn it into clear requirements for suppliers and teams
  • Hands-on experience with artwork and packaging approval processes
  • Working knowledge of HS/TARIC classification is a plus
  • Structured and detail-focused, with a good mix of analytical and operational thinking
  • Fluent German and English
  • Willingness to work from our headquarters in Düsseldorf at least 4 days per week

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AT CFAB

  • Permanent employment contract
  • 31 vacation days
  • Flexible working hours
  • Apple equipment (MacBook, iPhone)
  • Employer-paid team lunch three times a week
  • Monthly tax-free benefits of your choice
  • Corporate Benefits and discounts

WHAT MOTIVATES US

At cfab ambition and speed go hand in hand with high standards for our work. We don’t just want to develop ideas: we want to bring them to life quickly and see what comes of them. For us, it’s not just about good ideas, but above all about the results they produce.
