Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data architecture frameworks that align with business objectives and improve decision-making processes.
- Create and maintain both logical and physical data models to effectively organize our data assets.
- Work collaboratively with business analysts and stakeholders to gather data requirements and ensure consistency with the data strategy.
- Lead data integration initiatives, guaranteeing smooth connectivity among various systems and applications.
- Remain informed about industry trends and new technologies to promote ongoing advancements in data architecture practices.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior data professionals regarding best practices and technical expertise.
- Foster a culture of data-informed decision-making throughout the organization.
- Understand, document, and analyze existing data architecture designs and their modifications.
- Establish the future data reference architecture, detailing data entities, relationships, associated standards, etc.
- Identify gaps in data architecture and enterprise data designs.
- Define and develop data elements and entities, including detailed definitions, relationships among them, associated theories, relevant services, and procedures.
- Specify and develop requirements for data exchange and integration.
- Define data requirements for various solutions and services.
- Develop data architecture designs and facilitate the technical integration of applications for projects throughout their development and implementation phases.
- Create and update principles, standards, and frameworks pertaining to data.
