Breeze is hiring- join us! The Crew Planner position provides essential support in planning and executing a crew member’s schedule. This position also provides support in planning of short-term crew staffing needs. This position also plays a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence while providing customer service to all crew members. This position supports forecasting crew productivity, reserve demand, and overall staffing requirements to ensure that the airline is appropriately staffed, and the operation is supported. **The Crew Planning team follows a non-traditional schedule due to the nature of our monthly workflow and critical deadlines. The schedule between the 1st and the 15th of the month is very high tempo and includes longer days, later hours, and weekends as needed throughout the bidding process. The back half of the month sees a lighter workload and offers more flexibility.** Here’s what you’ll do Facilitate the construction of crew member’s monthly schedules Create efficient crew pairings Communicate between all stakeholders to verify information for monthly schedule Own the vacation bid process Frequently communicate with crew members as a group and individually Track and trend frequently asked questions and develop reference material to distribute Analyze crew data regarding reserve utilization and productivity Other duties as assigned Here’s what you need to be successful Minimum Qualifications 2-year degree in a quantitative field (business administration, economics, statistics, etc.) or relevant experience 2 years of airline experience Excel experience Must have authorization to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986 Preferred Qualifications Crew planning or crew scheduling experience Knowledge of the NavBlue crew scheduling software, or similar software Knowledge of pilot and flight attendant contractual provisions for scheduling, bidding, training and pay Understanding of FAA regulations in regards to crew member scheduling Knowledge of productivity drivers and analysis Skills/Talents Operates with the highest integrity, tackles problems with ingenuity, constantly pursues excellence, and exercises kindness in all interactions Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent problem-solving skills Work with individuals and teams at all levels in the organization Practices extreme ownership and transparency Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Exemplifies Breeze’s safety culture, values, and mission Excellent problem-solving skills Physical Demands & Working Conditions Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, handling documents, and operating standard office equipment Occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching within an office environment Clear verbal and written communication, requiring adequate speech, hearing, and vision Perks of the Job Health, Vision and Dental Health Savings Account with Breeze Employee Match 401K with Breeze Employee Match Generous PTO Travel on Breeze and other Airlines too!
