Over the last 30 years, Aston Villa’s community work has continued to cater for the needs of local residents, community members and fans, laying the important foundations for Aston Villa’s presence in the local community today. We work with children, young people and young adults both within the immediate areas surrounding Villa Park and the wider Birmingham population, providing a holistic landscape of opportunities to support them on their life journey. In all we do, we follow our mission statement of “Working together to Enrich Lives.” The Role The Head of Programmes and Impact is responsible for the strategic leadership, development, delivery, and evaluation of all Aston Villa Foundation programmes. The role ensures that the Foundation delivers high-quality, evidence-based interventions that create meaningful impact across priority areas such as health, education, employability, and community inclusion. This role will drive a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and measurable outcomes, ensuring programmes align with the Foundation’s mission, stakeholder expectations, and funding requirements For further information about the Role, please see the Role Profile. The Person The ideal candidate will: Lead the design and implementation of a high-quality, diverse programme portfolio aligned to the Foundation’s strategic objectives. Oversee all Foundation programmes, ensuring consistency, quality, and safeguarding standards. Contribute to the Foundation’s overall strategic planning and organisational growth. Lead, inspire, and develop a team of Senior Programme Managers Have excellent organisational skills with the ability to oversee multiple programmes simultaneously, ensuring delivery against timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
