Technical Program Manager.

PRODUCT$144K–211.2K/YR
Who we are With its A.I.-powered robotic technology platform, Symbotic is changing the way consumer goods move through the supply chain. Intelligent software orchestrates advanced robots in a high-density, end-to-end system – reinventing warehouse automation for increased efficiency, speed and flexibility. What we need As a Senior Level Software Technical Program Manager, you will partner closely with engineering leadership, technical leads, and product teams to ensure complex software programs are delivered on time and with high quality. You'll play a key role in driving execution, managing risk, and creating alignment across multiple teams working on sophisticated software, robotics, and automation systems -- ideally with deep experience leading programs for highly complex, distributed system development. What we do The team is responsible for delivering complex automation and software solutions that sit at the intersection of robotics, intelligent systems, and large-scale operational execution. Comprised of talented software engineers, roboticists, and systems engineers, the organization develops technologies that optimize how inventory moves through highly automated environments. As the team continues to scale, we are looking for a Software Technical Program Manager who can drive alignment, execution, and operational excellence across multiple engineering disciplines while helping deliver innovative solutions that have a direct impact on customers and business performance. What you'll do Partner with engineering managers, technical leads, and product managers to build and maintain a predictable program plan, and drive execution across complex software programs. Identify technical and program risks early, helping teams navigate challenges before they impact delivery. Ensure work is effectively prioritized, tracked, and executed through disciplined program management practices. Drive accountability by ensuring tasks, actions, dependencies, and ownership are clearly defined. Facilitate cross-functional meetings and communicate program status, risks, and milestones to both engineering teams and executive leadership. Leverage data and reporting tools to provide visibility into program health and execution metrics, ensuring plans and decisions are grounded in data rather than anecdote. Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and rapid decision-making across technical and business teams. Support the successful delivery of innovative solutions in a fast-paced, highly technical software environment. Continuously look for opportunities to improve processes, accelerate execution, and enhance cross-functional coordination. What you'll need Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Minimum of 10 years of professional experience with at least 3+ years leading complex software/technical programs or projects. Proven track record leading technical programs within software engineering organizations building highly complex, distributed, or large-scale systems (robotics, automation, infrastructure, or similarly technical products a plus). Strong program management skills with the ability to coordinate priorities across multiple stakeholders and teams. Experience using Jira to organize work, manage execution, and drive accountability. Demonstrated experience using agentic/AI tooling to streamline program execution, reporting, or decision-making. Proven experience facilitating meetings, driving alignment, and leading discussions among highly technical stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively from individual contributors through executive leadership. Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with competing priorities and evolving requirements. High-energy, results-oriented leader with strong ownership, learning agility, and the ability to influence without authority. Our environment   Up to 20% of travel may be required. Employees must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.  Employees may be required to use a personal credit card for business travel expenses, which are reimbursed based on the program guidelines. Eligible employees may receive a corporate credit card based on role and travel requirements, but a personal credit card may be needed during onboarding until the corporate card is issued.  #LI-GJ1 #LI-Hybrid About Symbotic Symbotic is an automation technology leader reimagining the supply chain with its end-to-end, AI-powered robotic and software platform.
