We’re looking for a hands-on Warehouse Team Lead to support our Dayton Distribution Center 2nd shift. In this role, you’ll guide daily activities, support your team, and help drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement across the warehouse. What you will do: Lead day-to-day warehouse operations to meet production and shipping commitments Provide work direction, coaching, and support to hourly team members Train and onboard new employees and temporary workers Monitor daily performance and take action to keep the team on track Partner with supervisors and support teams to resolve operational issues Promote a safe, organized work environment and reinforce safety expectations Identify opportunities for improvement and engage the team in problem-solving Operate equipment such as forklifts and other material handling tools as needed What we’re looking for: High school diploma or GED 2+ years of warehouse or distribution experience Previous leadership or team lead experience preferred Forklift certification and ability to pass internal testing required Comfortable using computer systems (e.g., Microsoft Office, warehouse systems) Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with others A positive, team-focused attitude and willingness to be hands-on Shift Details: Current hours: Monday-Friday 2:30PM-11:00PM In January-Changing to 4 -10 hour days Tuesday-Friday 3:30PM-2:00AM WE HAVE: A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day nVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply. Compensation Range: $23.90 - $44.40 Per Hour Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
