Resumen de la posición El Ingeniero de Preventa Fortinet será responsable de brindar consultoría y soporte técnico especializado sobre las soluciones de Fortinet dentro del ecosistema de distribución de TD SYNNEX, colaborando estrechamente con partners, resellers, equipos comerciales y representantes del fabricante. La posición tendrá un papel clave en el acompañamiento técnico de oportunidades, desde el entendimiento de los requerimientos y dimensionamiento de soluciones hasta la realización de demostraciones, pruebas de concepto (POCs) y actividades de capacitación para partners. Responsabilidades principales Brindar soporte técnico de preventa a partners y resellers de Fortinet durante el desarrollo de oportunidades. Entender los requerimientos técnicos y de negocio de cada proyecto y traducirlos en soluciones adecuadas del portafolio Fortinet. Diseñar, dimensionar y validar arquitecturas y soluciones de seguridad. Realizar presentaciones técnicas, demostraciones, workshops y Pruebas de Concepto (POCs). Apoyar a partners en la revisión y respuesta técnica de RFPs/RFIs. Proporcionar asesoría técnica a los equipos internos de ventas, producto y desarrollo de negocio. Capacitar y habilitar técnicamente a partners sobre las tecnologías, soluciones y casos de uso de Fortinet. Colaborar con los equipos de Fortinet y TD SYNNEX en el desarrollo de oportunidades estratégicas. Participar en actividades de enablement como webinars, bootcamps, workshops, Fast Tracks y Tech Days. Identificar oportunidades de integración y cross-selling entre soluciones de seguridad, networking, cloud e infraestructura. Mantener conocimientos actualizados sobre el portafolio, tecnologías y certificaciones de Fortinet. Perfil requerido Licenciatura o Ingeniería en Sistemas, Informática, Telecomunicaciones, Ciberseguridad, Redes o carrera relacionada. Experiencia previa como Ingeniero de Preventa, Security Engineer, Network Engineer, Systems Engineer o posición técnica similar. Conocimientos sólidos en fundamentos de redes y ciberseguridad. Experiencia práctica con tecnologías Fortinet / FortiGate / FortiOS. Experiencia en diseño y dimensionamiento de soluciones de seguridad y networking. Experiencia realizando presentaciones técnicas, demos, workshops o POCs. Capacidad para explicar conceptos técnicos tanto a audiencias técnicas como comerciales. Buenas habilidades de troubleshooting y resolución de problemas. Deseable experiencia trabajando con canales, resellers, distribuidores o fabricantes de tecnología. Inglés técnico para el manejo de documentación y materiales del fabricante y la interacción con equipos regionales. Certificaciones Deseable Fortinet NSE 4 – FortiOS Administrator.
