The student worker helps create a safe and welcoming environment for all patrons while supporting fitness center staff with operational tasks and promoting a positive recreational experience. Job Description: Job Duties Outlined Greet and assist students, faculty, staff, and guests entering the facility. Monitor fitness areas to ensure safe equipment use and adherence to facility policies. Clean and sanitize fitness equipment and common areas regularly. Check out and organize recreational equipment and supplies. Assist with opening and closing procedures. Respond to questions regarding facility programs, services, and policies. Enforce university recreation center rules and safety procedures. Report maintenance issues, accidents, or concerns to supervisors promptly. Support special events, intramural activities, and wellness programs as needed.
