We are looking for a High School Science and Biology Teacher for an international school in Beijing, starting in August 2027 for the 2027/28 academic year

Job responsibilities
- Teach science and biology to high school students, ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
- Develop students’ scientific knowledge, analytical thinking and practical laboratory skills through investigations and experiments
- Lead or assist with extracurricular clubs, enrichment programmes, teams, academic classes and study halls, with up to three hours of extracurricular involvement
- Prepare lessons and teaching materials, provide tutoring, design and mark assessments, and write report comments
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators to develop and enhance the school’s curriculum
- Assess and monitor students’ progress, setting clear learning targets to help all learners succeed and improve
- Provide clear and constructive feedback to students, parents and caregivers
- Create a supportive and safe learning environment, ensuring appropriate laboratory procedures are followed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Biology, Science or a related subject
- Recognised teaching qualification
- At least three years of relevant teaching experience
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
