Your Next Career Opportunity – Bilingual Tax Accountant I Analyze sales tax and property tax data utilizing and assist in ensuring compliance with policy and procedures. What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities Process property tax bills received from US and International municipalities. Process property tax bills received from US and International landowners. Address property tax inquiries from international SBA offices in a timely manner. Assist with billing property taxes to customers. Research delinquent tax matters and communicate findings to Tax Manager. Assists prepare annual property tax returns. Prepare and review monthly reconciliations. Identify ways to gain efficiencies in processes, leverage technology and assist implementing changes. Assist with gathering information for audits and work with external auditors. Assist with sales and use tax reconciliation and filings Other projects and duties as assigned. What You’ll Need – Qualifications & Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. AA, BA/ BS degree in Finance or Accounting is strongly preferred. 2+ years of Accounting experience. Bilingual in English and Spanish required. Ability to read, analyze and interpret, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and/or government regulations and legal documents. Analytical and detailed oriented. Must possess basic accounting skills used in determining accruals and expense determination.
