Responsibilities

- Handle food preparation tasks such as mixing, measuring, and assembling ingredients efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety protocols.
- Package baked goods for retail sale or catering orders with attention to presentation and freshness.
- Assist customers with product selections, answer questions about ingredients or dietary considerations, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Follow all food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.
- Support team members in daily operations, including restocking supplies and maintaining inventory.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cake decorating, baking, or food preparation within a restaurant or bakery environment.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures.
- Strong skills in food industry practices including kitchen experience, food handling, and packaging.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with food industry equipment such as mixers, ovens, and decorating tools is preferred.
- Flexibility to work during peak hours including weekends if necessary; however, the position primarily involves daytime hours.
