Partner with the Global Head of Utility Strategy and Engagement to support interconnection planning for hyperscale data center co-location, micro and edge data centers, and other energy-intensive uses requiring reliable grid access. Coordinate with commercial, development, and delivery teams to align interconnection timelines with permitting, construction readiness, and customer delivery requirements. Partner with Legal and external counsel on negotiation and execution of interconnection agreements and amendments. Provide clear communication to senior leadership on interconnection risks, dependencies, and schedule impacts. Building blocks for success Required: 7+ years of experience in interconnection, grid integration, utility coordination, or energy infrastructure development. Strong understanding of utility and ISO interconnection processes and study phases. Prior experience negotiating and executing interconnection agreements Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-project portfolios with material financial and schedule risk. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Energy Systems, or Power Engineering. Experience with battery energy storage, distributed generation, or on-site power solutions.
