JOB TITLE Assistant Teaching Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering LOCATION Worcester DEPARTMENT NAME Electrical & Computer Engineering Department DIVISION NAME Worcester Polytechnic Institute - WPI JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY The Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) department at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) seeks applicants for a teaching faculty position opening at the Assistant Teaching Professor level in all areas of electrical and computer engineering including power and renewable energy systems, radio frequency circuits, microelectronics, signal processing, communication systems and networks, digital circuit design, embedded systems, and artificial intelligence. JOB DESCRIPTION The individual selected for the position will be primarily responsible for teaching courses in Electrical and Computer Engineering as well as advising students and student projects as part of WPI’s unique project-based curriculum. A qualified candidate will hold an advanced degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in Electrical and Computer Engineering or a related discipline and must be able to demonstrate excellence in teaching a broad range of topics in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Preference will be given to candidates with the ability to effectively teach a wide range of courses in the ECE curriculum.
