We are looking for a Trainee Coordinator, Groups & Events to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute, learn and grow while helping shape the experiences and impact we create across Costa Navarino.
In this position, you will gain hands-on experience in Groups & Events operations, learning how groups and events are planned and delivered while developing your organizational and guest service skills within a luxury hotel environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the Groups & Events team with daily administrative and operational tasks.
- Assist with preparing and updating group documentation, including BEOs, group resumes, rooming lists, welcome letters, vouchers and other relevant documents.
- Assist with updating hotel systems and files accurately and on time, under the guidance of the G&E team.
- Review Event Orders and group programs to gain an understanding of timings, venues, setups, guest requirements and departmental responsibilities.
- Support internal communication and the coordination of group and event information with the relevant hotel departments.
- Assist with the preparation and organization of meetings, groups and events, gaining practical experience throughout the event process.
- Support the Groups & Events team during group arrivals and events when required, while following hotel policies, procedures and service standards.
- Attend training and learning sessions, develop knowledge of hotel facilities and procedures and use feedback to improve.
Requirements
- Currently studying or recently graduated in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration or a related field.
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service will be considered an advantage.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and willingness to learn hotel systems.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and genuine interest in hospitality, Groups & Events and guest service.
- Willingness to learn, receive feedback and develop new skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
