We are looking for an Officer, Security to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute, learn and grow while helping shape the experiences and impact we create across Costa Navarino.
In this position, you will help maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment for guests, associates and visitors by conducting security patrols, monitoring access and responding appropriately to potential risks, incidents and emergencies in line with Costa Navarino’s standards.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and security of guests, associates and property by responding quickly and appropriately to security and safety concerns.
- Conduct regular security patrols across assigned areas and identify potential security, safety or operational risks.
- Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring that only authorized persons and vehicles are permitted to enter.
- Secure assigned areas and inspect security equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Identify and promptly report suspicious persons, unattended items, unusual behavior, security breaches, hazards or damaged equipment.
- Provide emergency care and assistance as required until emergency medical services arrive.
- Maintain effective communication with guests, colleagues and other departments while providing professional customer service.
- Participate in security training, drills and emergency procedures to maintain operational readiness.
- Follow all H&S requirements, hotel policies, Security SOPs and Brand Standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma.
- Valid Private Security Personnel License (IEPYA).
- Valid Category B driving license.
- Previous Security experience will be considered an advantage.
- Valid First Aid Certification and UAV Drone Operator Certification (A1, A2, A3) will be considered advantages.
- Very good written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to identify security risks and respond calmly and effectively during emergencies.
- Good computer skills and ability to use security-related systems and equipment.
- Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
