We are looking for a Demi Chef de Partie to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute, learn and grow while helping shape the experiences and impact we create across Costa Navarino.
In this position, you will support the daily kitchen operation by preparing food to the required quality standards and following established recipes and procedures. You will maintain a clean and organized work environment, stay informed about the menu and work closely with the team to ensure smooth and efficient service in line with Brand Standards.
Responsibilities
- Follow food preparation, receiving, storage and handling procedures in line with company policies.
- Maintain strong knowledge of the menu, recipes, production methods and presentation standards.
- Support and cover for the Chef de Partie when required.
- Complete assigned tasks accurately and within the required timeframes.
- Follow procedures for allergies and dietary requirements and check the quality and specifications of raw materials.
- Comply with Health & Safety requirements, hotel policies, SOPs and Brand Standards.
- Attend required training and seminars and keep knowledge up to date on ingredients, culinary trends and procedures.
Requirements
- Two-year IEK or technical school diploma in Culinary Arts.
- Good command of Greek and English, both verbal and written.
- Good knowledge of ingredients, recipes and food presentation.
- Good knowledge of allergens and dietary requirements.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Good knowledge of kitchen equipment and safe operating procedures.
- Knowledge of HACCP procedures and documentation.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of basic cutting and cooking techniques.
- Good knowledge of hot and cold kitchen techniques and cooking methods.
- Basic knowledge of stock, storage, refrigerators and ordering procedures.
