Started in 2019, we built the first mobile-first, insurance platform, enabling insurance to be accessible online by millions in the region. Today, its the leading insurance platform in Southeast Asia.

What You’ll Do
- Create high-impact design assets for marketing campaigns, social media, web, ads, and short-form motion content.
- Lead the design and animation of motion graphics for marketing campaigns, product explainers, social content, and digital advertising
- Conceptualize and develop storyboards, frames, and animation sequences aligned with brand objectives
- Maintain visual design consistency and technical quality across all brand touchpoints and motion outputs
- Elevate design quality through experimentation, art direction, and storytelling
- Translate creative briefs into bold, on-brand, conversion-driven visuals.
- Collaborate with content, video, and performance marketing teams to deliver cohesive campaigns.
- Adapt and optimize visuals based on performance insights and feedback.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing creative innovation with timely delivery
- Troubleshoot animation, rendering, or visual effects issues to maintain quality
- Support product marketing with clear, compelling visual communication.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to team growth.
- Stay at the forefront of motion design trends, animation techniques, and creative tools
- Experiment with advanced VFX, 3D animation, and emerging digital formats
- Continuously push creative boundaries to set new benchmarks for BJAK’s new brand

Location
This role is based in Malaysia. This is a hybrid role. You are expected to work from our Malaysia office at least 3 days per week.

- English is our main working language across global teams. Strong English communication is required.

What You Bring
- 5–8 years of experience in graphic design, motion design, or creative content roles.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating clean execution, storytelling, and design leadership.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and motion tools.
- Experience or interest in working with AI tools for concepting and production.
- Strong understanding of layout, composition, and visual consistency.
- Ability to work fast, iterate quickly, and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience mentoring designers is a plus.
Nice to Have
- Experience producing short-form ads or commercial visual assets.
- Exposure to performance marketing or fast-paced startup environments.
- Knowledge of sound editing or basic VFX.
- Familiarity with templates, visual systems, and brand libraries.
