Job Description Job Title: Project Buyer Location: Västerås, Sweden Join Us!! We are looking for an experienced and motivated Project Buyer to join our Supply Chain team in Sweden. What will you do? Identify new suppliers in cooperation with relevant category team. Qualify new suppliers in-cooperation with Supplier Quality and Engineering specialists. Negotiate agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renew pricelists, terms Adapt corporate contractual framework to the local business needs. Recommends frame agreements to management and executes upon approval. Analyse and evaluate bids to determine the optimal value. Supports bid and proposal teams by providing relevant market information. Track goods received to verify appropriate delivery and ensure invoice processing. Oversee supplier performance (on time delivery, quality, lead time) and resolve performance issues. Initiates supply orders in the system, confirms delivery with suppliers, monitors and tracks supplier performance to purchase order requirements. Aligns supplier orders with customer requirements (based on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)/project requirements) in terms of content, quality, delivery, sustainability and price. Conducts all Supply Chain activities for all goods and services in accordance with policies and procedures Authority Authorized to evaluate suppliers and qualify/disqualify them as per company guidelines Empowered to lead and facilitate supplier assessments with project teams, line management, and subcontractors, and to require implementation of necessary preventive and corrective measures Authorized to audit suppliers, monitor KPI performance, and report progress SCM objectives to management and relevant stakeholders.
