Job Summary The incumbent plays a key role in leading and developing a team, managing client relationships, and ensuring the efficient execution of banking operations in alignment with the bank's strategic objectives. Job Responsibilities: * Lead, mentor, and develop a team of banking professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. * Manage and grow a portfolio of key client accounts, identifying their financial needs and providing tailored banking solutions, including loans, deposits, and investment products. * Oversee daily operational activities within the assigned department or branch, ensuring smooth workflow, adherence to service level agreements, and optimal resource utilization. * Implement and monitor risk management frameworks, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to safeguard the bank's assets and reputation. * Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and contribute to the development of innovative products and services. * Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and proposed solutions. * Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless cross-functional operations and enhance overall customer experience. * Ensure strict adherence to all banking laws, regulations, and internal compliance standards. * Any ad hoc tasks Job Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, FRM) is a plus. * Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in the banking or financial services industry, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or managerial role. * Proven track record of successful team leadership, coaching, and performance management. * Strong understanding of banking products, services, and operational processes. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. * Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset. * Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk management principles within the financial sector. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant banking software.
