Automation mindset — experience identifying repetitive or scalable work and building tools, scripts, or AI-assisted workflows (e.g., agents, skills, plugins) to reduce manual effort and increase delivery velocity for yourself and your team. Responsibilities Designing, developing, and maintaining complex applications using React (front end) and Node.js (back end). Ensuring seamless integration between client-side and server-side components to deliver responsive, scalable, and secure web applications. Developing user interfaces for a large web monolith and small to moderate micro-frontends and services, maintaining high standards for accessibility, performance, and usability. Implementing and optimizing UI components that align with enterprise design systems and technical standards. Lead applications through the entire software development life cycle (SDLC) — from requirements gathering and system design to deployment and maintenance. Ensure high-quality releases through continuous integration, code reviews, and automated testing. Identify opportunities to automate or scale recurring engineering work — building internal tools, AI-assisted agents/skills/plugins, or workflow automation — to increase quality and throughput for yourself and the broader team. U.S. National Base Pay Range: $86,600 - $144,400. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. If performed in Maryland, the base pay range is $90,900 - $151,700.If performed in New Jersey, the base pay range is $102,333 - $163,467. This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
