We currently have an opportunity for an Controls Technician – Food Manufacturing - Weekends (Friday-Sunday) at our New Hope, MN pasta production facility. We are offering a salary of $36.00 per hour. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, instrumentation, and industrial control systems. Support automation systems across production, packaging, and material handling equipment. Diagnose and resolve electrical and controls-related issues to minimize downtime. Perform preventative and predictive maintenance activities.· Maintain PLC and HMI program backups and documentation. Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement projects. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution. Associate degree in Electrical Technology, Automation Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum 3 years of controls, automation, or industrial electrical experience. Experience troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and industrial automation systems. Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation. Preferred Qualifications Leadership or team lead experience. Strong communication skills. Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and food manufacturing systems. Food manufacturing experience.· Allen-Bradley PLC and FactoryTalk experience.· Knowledge of industrial networking systems. Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 lbs. Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods. Work in hot, humid, cold, and dusty environments. Climb ladders and work from lifts at heights up to 35+ feet. Perform repetitive grasping, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift.
