Communicate day-to-day with pipeline operators, terminal operators and counterparties to coordinate movements and resolve operational queries. Ensure accurate and timely entry of nominations, movements and inventory data into Trafigura's systems, maintaining strong data integrity. Support month-end and settlement processes for crude movements, including reconciliations and volume/quality queries, working with Trade Finance and other stakeholders. Follow regulatory, pipeline tariff and contractual requirements, and adhere to Trafigura's policies and codes. Develop your knowledge of Canadian crude markets, including pipeline economics, differentials and logistics optionality, and contribute ideas to improve team processes. Analyze market data for the purpose of developing facility blend models, producer netbacks, and pricing summaries to be distributed to commercial teams Required Qualifications 2–5 years of experience in crude oil or energy scheduling, logistics, operations or a related midstream, trading or commodities role. Working knowledge of crude oil pipeline, rail or terminal logistics, including nominations and allocations, or a strong demonstrated aptitude to learn quickly. A clear interest in commodity markets and the commercial side of physical trading, with curiosity about how operational decisions affect trading outcomes. Strong Excel skills and comfort working with data and operational systems. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines accurately in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Post-secondary degree in business, finance, economics, engineering, supply chain or a related field. Previous experience supporting or working alongside a trading desk, including internships or graduate programs in physical commodities.
