Business Title: Assistant Finance Manager Location: Kolkata Beverages Factory This role helps strengthen financial performance and decision-making for the manufacturing site. You will partner with central and site finance teams to support cost management, savings governance, investment evaluation, risk management and reliable reporting. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Support cost management through budgeting, forecasting and analysis of variances against plans. • Track savings initiatives, maintain governance and validate that financial benefits are delivered and reported accurately. • Support financial appraisals for capital investments, cost initiatives and operational improvement projects. • Help maintain strong financial governance and control processes across the manufacturing site. • Proactively identify financial risks, control gaps and process improvement opportunities, and work with teams to address them. • Prepare and maintain management reports and dashboards that provide clear insights into business performance. • Coordinate with finance teams across factory locations to ensure submissions are timely, complete and accurate. • Support internal and external audits, business reviews and compliance requirements. • Use data and emerging digital tools to simplify reporting, strengthen controls and improve decision-making. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Qualified Chartered Accountant with up to three years of professional experience. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with confidence working with financial data and reports. • Ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively with stakeholders across locations and functions. • Proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to identify risks and improvement opportunities. • Comfort using artificial intelligence and other digital tools in finance.
