The Must Haves: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field; MBA preferred. • 8–12+ years of experience sourcing optical components. • Demonstrated success negotiating high-value international supply agreements. • Strong commercial acumen with proven impact on cost reduction and margin improvement. • Experience managing suppliers in high-growth, technology-driven markets. • Advanced negotiation and contract structuring capability. • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders. Nice to haves: • Experience with optical photonic components such as lenses, fibers, etalons, and prisms. • Background in make-vs-buy analysis or vertical integration strategy. • Familiarity with should-cost modeling and total cost of ownership analysis. • Experience supporting telecom or hyperscale interconnect markets. • Exposure to Supplier Relationship Management governance models. • Knowledge of geopolitical supply chain risk indicators. • Cross-functional leadership in engineering, product, or finance environments.
