About This Job Join Axos Bank’s immersive 12-week Summer Internship Program to gain hands-on experience, contribute to enterprise initiatives, and develop professional skills in a fast-paced, technology-driven financial environment. Along with your day-to-day job duties, you will take part in a capstone project, sessions with our business leaders, financial literacy training courses, Corporate Finance Institute trainings, and a volunteer day. Interns choose between one of two sessions. Session 1: May 25 - August 13 Session 2: June 14 - September 3 The Product Management Internship offers hands-on experience in supporting the product development lifecycle from concept to launch. Interns will work closely with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to learn how products are researched, designed, and delivered in a dynamic environment. This intern will support the Securities product team across research, documentation, backlog management, and QA, gaining hands-on exposure to the full product development lifecycle. Responsibilities Research & Analysis Conduct competitive, industry, research Summarize findings across product capabilities, UX patterns, and workflows Support research related to personas, use cases, and product positioning Documentation Support (Internal & Customer-Facing) Internal: Translate meeting notes and decisions into structured, clear artifacts; update epics, requirements, and user flows; maintain consistency in terminology, product language, and feature definitions Backlog & Workstream Support Assist with backlog organization and upkeep Ensure ADO tickets are clear, complete, and aligned to format and structure guidelines Maintain alignment between roadmap items, documentation, and ADO artifacts Customer Feedback Synthesis Review and summarize insights from discovery sessions, notes, and feedback channels Organize findings into themes such as usability improvements, feature requests, workflow friction etc Associate feedback with personas, product areas, and relevant use cases Data & Usage Awareness Review usage signals where available to identify friction points or gaps Flag potential opportunities for platform improvements QA & Feature Validation Perform exploratory testing to ensure features behave as expected Validate workflows across user roles and scenarios Document findings clearly using screenshots or short structured notes Acceptance Criteria Review Confirm user stories meet defined acceptance criteria Validate workflows follow expected patterns and terminology Ensure features feel consistent with the intended experience before hand-off Axos Intern Benefits May Include: Sick Leave 401(k) Retirement Saving Plan with Employer Match Program Free Access to Self-Directed Trading Networking with Executives Corporate Finance Institute Courses Access to Onsite Gym and Walking Distance from UTC for San Diego Interns About Axos Born digital-first, Axos delivers financial tools and services that allow individuals, small businesses, and companies to access and manage their money how, when, and where they want.
