Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Duluth is currently seeking applicants for a Operator 1. Job Location: This position will be on-site at the Duluth, MN facility, near Airpark blvd and Haines Road. What you will be doing: 1. Build electronic components by performing winding, soldering, crimping, masking, encapsulating, measuring and applying needed coatings. This does involve mechanical and electrical assembly of products, testing parts, subassemblies and finished goods. 2. Documentation of test results, procedures, and materials. 3. Partner with various members of the business to improve efficiencies and quality of products. 4. Perform assigned tasks as required and work with responsible employee or supervisor on the dysfunctionality. 5. Set up and operate equipment (winders, mold press, ovens, test equipment) as well as obeying all work rules and EHS regulations as valid for the work task(s) assigned. What you will bring along: 1. Basic computer skills 2. Basic math skills 3. Attention to detail 4. Good eyesight 5. Ability to use a microscope Work hours: Monday-Friday, 7AM-3:30PM Pay: $21/hr starting pay but may be higher depending on previous applicable experience.
