Minimum Qualification Education: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in an analytical subject such as Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or Software Engineering. Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience or equivalent, with a strong track record of delivering production-quality software at scale. Technical Depth: Strong architecture and programming expertise, with the ability to make sound technical decisions and quickly learn new technologies. Problem Solving: Proven ability to apply and lead a structured, scientific, and creative approach to solving complex engineering problems. Leadership & Collaboration: Experience working in cross-functional teams, influencing technical direction, and communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Quality Focus: Deep commitment to software quality, including test strategy definition, code reviews, and continuous improvement practices. Preferred Qualification End-to-end development experience across the stack, in some or all of the following areas: Languages: Modern C++, Swift, TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, Python UI Frameworks: Qt, Cocoa, React, Angular, or similar Back-end: Java (Spring), RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and API design Experience leading or significantly contributing to system design, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making. Strong experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, including contract testing and test automation in CI pipelines. Practical experience or strong interest in AI-assisted development, including the use of LLM-based tools for scaffolding, refactoring, test generation, debugging, and improving developer productivity — with clear ownership of validated, production-ready code. Familiarity with Git, DevOps practices, continuous integration, and continuous delivery. Experience optimising applications across Windows, macOS, Linux, and Web platforms and ecosystems.
