You’ll provide expertise in the engineering design, development, direction, and implementation of enterprise network cyber defense capabilities. You will apply familiarity with the utilization, configuration, and implementation of cyber defense capabilities, including web content filters, email security capabilities, Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention Systems, Host Based Security Systems, Security Incident and Event Management tools, Domain Name System security practices, advanced log analysis, network monitoring, network flow analysis, packet capture analysis, network proxies, firewalls, anti-virus capabilities, Linux or UNIX command line, and access control lists. You Have:  3+ years of experience building data pipelines leveraging tools such as Cribl, Logstash, or Apache Kafka 3+ years of experience designing data pipeline architectures for security operations, including log collection, normalization, enrichment, and routing Experience deploying platforms across cloud, on-premises, and disconnected environments using Kubernetes or OpenShift Experience with configuration management or DevOps tooling such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Terraform Experience working in highly structured, controlled, classified or compartmented environments with strict access enforcement Knowledge of analyzing logs, service dependencies, and working through system performance anomalies Knowledge of zero trust principles, DoD and IC cybersecurity frameworks, and federal compliance standards Secret clearance HS diploma or GED Nice If You Have:  3+ years of experience with defensive cyber operations, cybersecurity engineering, or security platform architecture Experience with Kubernetes Experience with SIEMs and Log optimization, data normalization, and extracting telemetry data using native APIs. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
