The Beijing office of Hogan Lovells Cadwalader is seeking a Paralegal to join the Corporate & Finance group. The candidates should have at least one year of legal experience. SCOPE OF THE WORK Corporate work: we are a team of dedicated corporate lawyers working with corporate clients and financial institutions on a wide range of cross-border, multi-jurisdictional projects that require corporate and regulatory advices. Commercial projects: we have a strong and established client base instructs us on a broad range of commercial matters, including drafting of commercial contracts, legal research, and analysis of laws and regulations in various jurisdictions. Supporting corporate partners in Beijing and other offices on cross-border transactions, including due diligence, drafting, negotiation and research. REQUIREMENTS PRC legal qualification is required. Additional qualification in another jurisdiction (such as Hong Kong, England & Wales, New York or other common law jurisdictions) would be advantageous. At least one year of legal experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese. Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and perform under pressure. Self-motivated, proactive and responsible, with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail.
