In this role, you’ll work hands-on with machined parts, assist in running lathes, horizontal mills, hydraulic saws, and get the opportunity to operate robot-fed vertical mills. This is a perfect position for someone looking to break into the machining field with the opportunity to grow and be promoted from within. Responsibilities: · Operate saws and prepare raw materials per job specifications · Assist CNC machinists in machine setup and operation · Deburr and sand machined parts using tools and finishing equipment · Track inventory and material usage in logs and spreadsheets · Perform routine maintenance on saws and workspace · Move materials safely using appropriate tools/equipment · Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop area · Follow all company safety protocols and standard procedures Qualifications: · High school diploma or equivalent · Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently and stand for extended periods · Basic math and computer skills; Excel experience a plus · Must be detail-oriented, accountable, and self-motivated · Machine shop experience helpful but not required · Willingness to learn, grow, and take ownership of your role What We Offer: · Full 40-hour workweek with potential overtime · Clear path for advancement into CNC machining and other technical roles · A company culture focused on training, teamwork, and internal promotion Benefits: · 401(k) with 5% match · Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance · Paid Time Off & Parental Leave · Tuition Reimbursement & Professional Development · Health Savings Account · Retirement Plan Pay range based on prior experience.
