High attention to detail and accuracy is a must. Strong analytical skills - critical thinking, data and information analysis, research and problem solving. Understanding of the capital markets and stock markets, and a passion for investing. Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques. Advanced level of proficiency in Excel is expected and required. Familiarity with the energy sector preferred, but not required. Responsibilities: Provide support to senior analysts through fundamental analysis with an emphasis on bottoms-up research in the energy sector. Assist in the construction of maintenance of detailed company-specific and industry models. Draft individual company and sector-wide research reports. Analyze industry data to identify current and long-term trends. Keep abreast of industry-related news flow and analyze implications on companies under coverage. Update and maintain analyst marketing presentations. Communicate with both institutional clients and internal clients to convey investment recommendations and ideas.
