Job Title: 1:1 School Nurse (RN / LPN) – School & Bus Support Pay Range: Based upon experience Job Description: Consistent School-Day Schedule | One-on-One Student Care | Overtime Eligible Are you an RN or LPN with pediatric nursing experience looking for a rewarding opportunity with a consistent schedule? Do you enjoy providing individualized care and building meaningful relationships with the students you support? Nyman Associates is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide 1:1 nursing support to a student throughout the school day, including transportation to and from school. In this role, you will meet the student at their home, accompany them on the school bus, provide continuous nursing care and monitoring throughout the school day, and ride the bus home with them. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who enjoy working with children and want to make a meaningful impact in a school-based setting. Position Highlights Schedule: One available schedule is 6:30 AM – 4:45 PM Setting: School-based, 1:1 student nursing support Transportation: Accompany the student on the school bus to and from school Overtime: Eligible for overtime pay Employment: W-2 employee with access to benefits Why Join Nyman Associates? We offer: Consistent school-day schedules Opportunities to provide individualized, one-on-one student care Support from dedicated Clinical Leads and Clinical Directors Professional development and continuing education opportunities A collaborative and supportive work environment Opportunities for professional growth and career advancement What You'll Do Provide dedicated 1:1 nursing care and continuous monitoring for an assigned student Meet the student at their home and accompany them on the school bus to and from school Remain with the student throughout the school day to monitor their health, safety, and medical needs Administer medications and provide nursing interventions as prescribed and within your scope of practice Monitor the student's condition and respond appropriately to changes in health status Provide first aid and emergency nursing care as needed Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to support the student's medical needs Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation Follow the student's individualized healthcare plan and applicable school policies and nursing regulations Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice Current CPR/AED certification Experience in pediatric nursing, school nursing, private duty nursing, or a related setting preferred Comfortable providing continuous, individualized nursing care in a school setting and during student transportation Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills Ability to work independently and respond appropriately to student medical needs Department of Education certification, if applicable Benefits W-2 employment Overtime eligibility Sick time 401(k) Health, dental, and vision insurance options Life insurance Referral bonuses Materials and resources provided Continuing education and professional development opportunities Mentorship and dedicated clinical support Join Nyman Associates and make a difference in a student's life every day!
