This role requires strong real-time interpreting skills, collaboration with teachers, staff, and related service providers to support student/family during meetings and conferences. • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional interpreting standards What We're Looking For: Must Have • Certification or licensure as a Sign Language Interpreter or equivalent) • Department of Justice/FBI Background Check (or equivalent state or national fingerprint clearance) • RID (Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf) certification required • EIPA score of 3.5 or higher preferred/accepted • Strong ASL fluency and ability to interpret in real-time academic settings Preferred • Prior experience interpreting in a K–12 school setting • Strong understanding of Deaf culture and educational interpreting best practices • Experience working with students with diverse learning and communication needs About Point Quest Group Point Quest Group is a leading national provider of special education services, partnering with 350+ school districts to help students with unique needs thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
