This Position reports to: R&D Team Lead Job Responsibilities Follow ABB agile development processes and participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirement clarification, development, testing, and release. Develop and maintain software features and business logic using C#, Python, and related technologies. Perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and defect fixing to ensure product quality. Collaborate with global development teams, especially frontend application teams, on integration and end-to-end testing. Support customer pilot projects for new products and features, collect feedback, and drive continuous improvements. Contribute to AI-enabled and robotic application solutions for industrial automation scenarios. Qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Automation, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering disciplines. 1-3 years of experience in software development, robotics, AI, automation, or related technical fields. Basic understanding of industrial robotic applications such as painting, welding, grinding, machine tending, assembly, or material handling. Hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus: Large Language Models (LLM), Agentic AI, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or Embodied AI. Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
