Job Description: IHOP is seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to prepare delicious and high-quality meals for our customers. This role involves working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met, and contributing to a positive dining experience. Job Responsibilities * Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes, production schedules, and customer orders. * Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring all cooking equipment and utensils are properly cleaned and stored. * Monitor food stock and communicate needs to management, assisting with inventory control. * Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and temperature control. * Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations. * Assist in portioning food and preparing ingredients for future meals. * Receive and store deliveries, checking for quality and quantity. * Handle customer requests and dietary restrictions with care and attention. * Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Job Qualifications * Proven experience as a Cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment is preferred. * Solid understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment. * Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations * Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights. * Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
