Job Description: As a Travel Plaza Cashier at Onvo, you will be the face of our convenience store and fuel station, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and accurately processing transactions. You will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience for all travelers. Job Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases in a friendly and efficient manner. * Accurately operate a cash register, handle cash, credit card, and other payment methods, and provide correct change. * Scan and bag merchandise, ensuring correct pricing and adherence to company policies. * Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including stocking shelves and rotating products as needed. * Assist with maintaining the overall cleanliness of the store, including restrooms and fuel pumps. * Answer customer inquiries, provide directions, and offer information about products and services. * Monitor fuel pumps and assist customers with fueling procedures when necessary. * Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to age-restricted sales (e.g., tobacco, alcohol, lottery tickets). * Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when appropriate. * Perform opening and closing duties as assigned. Job Qualifications * Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is a plus. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to handle transactions accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. * Basic math skills are essential. * Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. * Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. * A positive attitude and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
