Job Description: As a Travel Plaza Cashier at Onvo, you will provide exceptional customer service and efficiently processing transactions for fuel, convenience store items, and food service. Job Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases in a friendly and efficient manner. * Accurately process cash, credit, and debit card transactions using a POS system. * Handle cash carefully, provide correct change, and reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift. * Scan and bag merchandise, ensuring correct pricing and product identification. * Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including shelves and displays. * Assist with stocking shelves and ensuring products are readily available for customers. * Monitor fuel pumps and assist customers with fueling inquiries or issues. * Respond to customer questions and resolve complaints promptly and professionally. * Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to age-restricted sales (e.g., tobacco, alcohol, lottery tickets). * Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment. Job Qualifications * Basic math skills and ability to accurately handle cash transactions. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. * Availability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. * Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds. * A positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
