Introduction to the job We are looking for an experienced delivery manager that will be responsible for delivering global connectivity solutions, connecting ASML with our customer’s Fabs. In this context, connectivity means much more than the network layer. It also includes an industry specific layer of application services on top of the network. These services are used by our Development & Engineering, Customer Service and Manufacturing colleagues across the globe. This puts you at the heart of a strategically important domain, with direct impact on how ASML connects to and supports its customers worldwide. Next to delivering the services, you will also be responsible for the teams and suppliers that deliver these services. You will be part of the department Management Team. This combination gives you significant responsibility and the opportunity to shape both today’s service delivery and the future direction of Customer Connectivity. Role and responsibilities You provide end-to-end services that enable ASML to install, support and improve our products at our customer’s facilities from our global offices. Good examples are Remote Tool Operation and Scheduled File Transfers. Next to a large running operation there are several big and strategically important projects running in this context. You will be delivering critical services in a demanding global industry, making this a challenging and highly impactful role. It offers plenty of opportunity to develop yourself further, take ownership and help shape solutions that directly support ASML and its customers across the globe. As a delivery manager, you are responsible for: Managing demand (incl. short-, mid- and long-term roadmaps) Managing suppliers that are providing the key platforms and suppliers that are providing the support teams. Managing service delivery and global deployment (incl. the triple constraints: time, budget, quality) Managing stakeholders (end-user management, internal IT departments that your services depend on, etc). As a people manager, you are responsible for managing the individuals in your scope. You will have the opportunity to develop your people and teams while building the capabilities needed for the future. As a MT member, you are responsible for: Financial management (within your scope: annual budget, actuals, etc.) Supporting and improving the department as a whole As part of the Management Team, you will also have the opportunity to look beyond your own scope and contribute to the strategic direction and further development of the department. Education and experience Help us tackle the technical challenges we face, you’ll need experience working on high-tech products and with complex processes. As Manager Customer Connectivity, you’ll need: At least a MSc degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or equivalent experience At least 8 years experience with building/ managing IT delivery teams At least 5 years experience as a leader in a multi-team environment At least 3 years experience with working with large IT suppliers & off-shoring Preferably a technical background or a strong interest in technology Experience in managing internationally distributed teams Experience in an equivalent environment (size, complexity, industry, domain) is a strong plus Skills Working at the cutting edge of tech, you’ll always have new challenges and new problems to solve – and working together is the only way to do that. Other information In this IT department we provide a very diverse set of services to both Development and Engineering and Customer Service. Services include managed operations for ASML products in the field, Customer Connectivity, software distribution, custom development of tools for CS, development tooling and infrastructure (VM hosting, K8S hosting, VDIs, etc). This broad technology landscape makes the role an excellent opportunity to work across organizational and technical boundaries, while taking ownership of a domain that directly enables ASML’s global customer operations.
