Across more than 60 locations globally, our teams work together to advance semiconductor technology and develop solutions for some of the industry’s most complex challenges. Our Wilton, Connecticut location is ASML’s largest research, development, and manufacturing site in the United States. The site specializes in advanced mechatronics, alignment and sensor technology, and optical fabrication. Teams in Wilton design and manufacture high-value modules and sensors that are critical to the performance of ASML’s lithography and metrology systems Introduction to the Job As a Production Planner, you will transform long-term manufacturing goals into practical, executable production plans. Your work will help ASML’s Wilton factory produce the advanced technology used within the semiconductor industry. You will coordinate materials, capacity, equipment, tooling, and resources across a 13-week planning horizon. By identifying risks early and developing solutions, you will help manufacturing teams meet production and delivery commitments. Evaluate equipment, tooling, facility, and resource constraints while developing practical planning scenarios. Analyze production risks, bottlenecks, and performance trends using enterprise planning systems and Microsoft Excel. Support new-product introductions and engineering changes by reviewing timing, production impact, and implementation risks. Lead cross-functional improvements that strengthen planning processes, cycle time, delivery performance, and resource utilization. Education and Experience To succeed as a Production Planner, you will need: 3+years production planning or supply chain experience within manufacturing. One or more years of experience using SAP or a comparable enterprise resource planning system. 2+ years of experience managing relationships with cross-functional stakeholders. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, conditional formatting, pivot tables, and charts. Experience supporting at least one new-product introduction within a production environment. Knowledge of Lean methodology or another structured continuous improvement approach. A bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, supply chain management, communications, or a related discipline is preferred. Relevant APICS certification in planning, supply chain, project management, engineering, or master data is preferred. Skills Working at the cutting edge of tech, you’ll always have new challenges and new problems to solve – and working together is the only way to do that. You won’t work in a silo. To thrive in this job, you’ll need the following skills: Analyze complex production information and translate findings into clear recommendations. Communicate risks, priorities, and proposed actions to technical and operational stakeholders. Manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting planning deadlines. Collaborate across teams to resolve material, capacity, and production constraints. Demonstrate ownership by addressing problems proactively and following actions through completion. Adapt production plans when priorities, resources, or manufacturing conditions change. Present data and recommendations clearly using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
