Manufacturing Technical Operator (2nd Shift).

Welcome to Haleon. We’re a purpose-driven, world-class consumer company putting everyday health in the hands of millions. In just three years since our launch, we’ve grown, evolved and are now entering an exciting new chapter – one filled with bold ambitions and enormous opportunity. Our trusted portfolio of brands – including Sensodyne®, Panadol®, Advil®, Voltaren®, Theraflu®, Otrivin®, and Centrum® – lead in resilient and growing categories. What sets us apart is our unique blend of deep human understanding and trusted science. Now it’s time to fully realise the full potential of our business and our people. We do this through our Win as One strategy. It puts our purpose – to deliver better everyday health with humanity – at the heart of everything we do. It unites us, inspires us, and challenges us to be better every day, driven by our agile, performance-focused culture. About the role As a Manufacturing Technical Operator you’ll be part of the team that keeps our production lines running smoothly and safely. You’ll be hands‑on with equipment, materials, and products every day—setting up machines, monitoring production, fixing small issues when they come up, and making sure everything meets quality and safety standards. This role is ideal for someone who likes staying active, working with machinery, and taking ownership of their work area. Role Responsibilities Operate, monitor, and maintain manufacturing equipment in a cGMP-regulated environment to produce high-quality products safely, efficiently, and in compliance with established procedures. Perform material handling, weighing, processing, inspection, and in-process quality checks while monitoring critical process parameters to ensure product specifications and quality standards are met. Execute equipment setup, cleaning, sanitization, and changeovers to support production schedules and maximize operational efficiency. Troubleshoot equipment issues, perform basic adjustments and minor repairs, replace worn or malfunctioning components, and escalate complex issues to technical support teams as needed. Support preventive and predictive maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime. Proactively identify and resolve equipment, material, and supply issues that could impact safety, quality, or production performance. Safely operate material handling equipment and assist with inventory management to ensure materials and supplies are available while minimizing waste and controlling costs. Accurately complete and maintain production batch records, equipment logs, cleaning records, maintenance documentation, and ERP/SAP transactions in accordance with regulatory and company requirements. Participate in autonomous maintenance, continuous improvement initiatives, and the development and revision of procedures and work instructions to drive operational excellence. Maintain required training and certifications, communicate production and quality concerns effectively, and ensure timely escalation of issues to leadership when appropriate. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement. Take ownership of professional development by building the skills and knowledge needed to independently operate across multiple manufacturing work centers and advance within the Operator Career Path program. Why you? Basic Qualifications: A minimum of a HS Diploma or GED equivalent is required. A minimum of two years’ experience in production, mechanical troubleshooting, or related field is required. Prior work experience in manufacturing or packaging performing equipment set-up and changeovers or similar demonstrated experience in multi-system mechanical troubleshooting. Must have basic computer skills: word processing, spreadsheets, and data entry. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a regulated environment (GMP, Pharmaceutical, food or similar) is a plus. Prior work experience in manufacturing performing equipment set-up and change-overs, or similar demonstrated experience in multi-system mechanical troubleshooting. Experience with a lean organization or other prior exposure to lean concepts, tools and techniques. Knowledge of PAS-X, SAP, ProFicient, and/or FT_Batch computer systems. Ability to lift 5-25 lbs. frequently and occasionally lift drums, bags and cases weighing up to 50 lbs. This position requires the regular use of various PPE including but not limited to the following: bump cap, safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves and N95 or PAPR. All required PPE will be provided. Team oriented and flexible, able to adapt to changing assignments Highly motivated and self-driven with a desire to continuously improve own skill set. Able to function productively with minimal supervision. Location: Onsite in Lincoln, Nebraska. This is not a remote opportunity. Shift: Mon-Fri 2:30pm-11:00pm (2nd Shift) Benefits Haleon offers a robust Total Reward package that consists of competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits program. This includes a generous 401(k) plan, tuition reimbursement and time off programs including 6 months paid parental leave. On day one, you are eligible for benefits, including our healthcare programs where the company pays for the majority of your medical coverage for you and your family.
