This role will clean, inspect, and repair molds as necessary. This is a 2nd Shift position (2:30 PM - 10:30 PM) ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Work in a safe manner following all PPE and standardized processes Remove molds from compression molding cells and transport to maintenance area and return once completed Required to media blast, bake, and coat semi-permanent mold release Transport mold parts, positions them for assembly Works towards improvements for process efficiencies Perform all other duties as assigned by the Supervisor. TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities) Must be able to read, write and understand English Must be very organized and thorough, following all procedures for quality and safety. Must be able to work independently as well as being part of the team. Must be able to manage time well to meet deadlines. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training in field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in a manufacturing environment PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT (if applicable) The employee may be frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles The noise level in the work environment is usually loud The employee is regularly required to stand and walk for long periods of time.
