We are seeking a Kubernetes Platform Engineer to join our Cloud Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and operating a large-scale Kubernetes environment in a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) model. This environment includes several bare-metal, multi-tenant clusters running over 18,000 pods in over 1,300 distinct namespaces on over 130 hardware servers.
Main tasks:
- Ensure optimal maintenance of the platform through automation, monitoring, and performance measurements.
- Participate in no-downtime physical migration of clusters and servers to a new data center.
- Further develop the platform’s self-service capabilities.
- Support our internal users in containerizing their existing applications.
- Actively participate in the design and development of our platform.
Must have requirements:
- Experience with on-premise Kubernetes
- Proficiency in Prometheus
- Strong understanding of networking
- Expertise in Linux
Nice to have requirements:
- Experience with Istio
- Proficiency in Golang
- Familiarity with Kyverno
- Experience with Gitlab CI
- Knowledge of Python and Bash scripting
- Experience with Terraform and Ansible
- Familiarity with Calico
- Experience with Azure
Hybrid work model: 3 days from the office, 2 days of home office.
Office location: Warsaw, Poznań or Lublin.
