St. Norbert College (SNC), a nationally ranked, private, Catholic, liberal arts college, is seeking a part-time Maintenance Specialist to join our facilities team. The hours for this position are flexible, with a schedule of four hours per day, Monday through Friday. The position is generally not expected to work nights or weekends except for possible snow removal. Specific responsibilities: Perform numerous maintenance tasks throughout the campus, such as daily work orders, repairs, and modifications. Perform various masonry tasks and repairs. Repair broken windows and install new window components. Perform various carpentry tasks. Assist with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing repairs. Assist with snow removal and participate in the on-call program. Perform additional duties as assigned. Required Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. 5 years of related work experience. Valid Driver’s License. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines. Basic math skills. Sound judgment and timely decision-making skills. Ability to lead by example. Ability to maintain focus in a noisy environment.
