Production Operations at Televisa Univision is looking for a Teleprompter Operator to join our team! Responsibilities include operating a Teleprompter and working closely with the production staff. The Teleprompter will report to the Production Manager. YOUR DAY-DAY: (aka Responsibilities) · Operate Cue Script teleprompter by loading and running the script while following the talent · Clean and inspect teleprompter hardware including monitor and reflective glass prior to broadcast · Change size and color of text · Deliver scripts to set · Check closed captioning of recorded or live broadcast if necessary · Perform other related duties as assigned YOU HAVE: (aka Qualifications) · Associates Degree in Television Production or equivalent work experience · Working knowledge of computers and Windows operating systems · Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) · 1-2 years of experience with live studio broadcast · Comfortable with all aspects of the production · Perform well under pressure and breaking news situations · Excellent organizational skills with acute attention to detail · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Excellent listening skills · Ability to multitask and prioritize · Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment · As this position supports a 24x7 operation, candidate must, in addition to being able to work regular hours, have on-call availability, and flexibility to work days, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays as needed and without advance notice.
