Clinical Educator, Sterile Processing: Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in related field (Preferred or all 4 certifications), CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician), or Equivalent, or CST (Certified Surgical Technician), CIS (Certified Instrument Specialist), CHL (Certified Healthcare Leader), CER (Certified Endoscope Reprocessor), Five (5) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience in Central Sterile Processing and/or Operating Room. Central Sterile Processing Technician 1 and 2: High School Diploma or equivalent/relevant experience, certification or license. Hold one of the following certifications. CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) IAHCSMM, CSPDT (Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician) CBSPD, CST (Certified Surgical Technician) NBSTSA, BLS certification is required from the American Heart Association.
