Provide compassionate patient focus and perform select care duties under the supervision of a registered nurse. Improve the patient experience and maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment. Measure and record temperatures, pulses, respiration and blood pressure. Demonstrate what it means to be part of a team and raise the bar for patient care Float to all units-in the hospital such as - Med-Surg- Critical Care-Psychiatry- Emergency Department or where needed. This a full-time night position (11:45PM-7:45AM) New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, 3 weekends a month and rotating holidays required. Preferred Criteria Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of experience as a nurse’s aide in a hospital Required Criteria High school diploma or GED Certification from an approved, accredited Nurse Assistant training program or current Enrollment in a BSN program & completion of at least 1 clinical rotation Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association Excellent communication and customer service skills Basic computer skill Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
