A Day in the Life This role supports manufacturing operations through hands-on mechanical equipment maintenance, repair, fabrication, testing, and process support. The position partners with engineering and production teams to maintain equipment performance, support troubleshooting activities, and contribute to quality and operational objectives within a regulated manufacturing environment. This position is based onsite in West Valley City, Utah and supports 1st shift operations, Monday through Friday. Travel is not expected for this role. This position provides technical support for manufacturing equipment and mechanical systems. The role is responsible for equipment installation, repair, fabrication, testing, and troubleshooting while partnering with engineering and production teams to support safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing operations. Primary Responsibilities Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment and manufacturing systems. Fabricate, assemble, and modify mechanical components, machinery, and equipment. Perform equipment testing and validation activities to verify operational performance. Support engineers in developing and implementing technical solutions for manufacturing equipment and systems. Diagnose mechanical issues and recommend corrective actions to minimize downtime. Conduct quality control testing and inspection activities in accordance with established procedures. Document maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting activities using applicable systems and processes. Provide technical guidance and support to new or less experienced team members as needed. Required Qualifications High School Diploma and 1+ years of mechanical, manufacturing, maintenance, or technical experience. Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment or systems. Experience interpreting technical drawings, schematics, or work instructions. Ability to perform equipment testing, data collection, and documentation activities. Ability to work onsite in West Valley City, Utah on 1st shift, Monday through Friday. Preferred Qualifications Associate degree in Mechanical Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical discipline. Experience supporting manufacturing operations in a regulated industry. Experience with preventive maintenance and equipment reliability programs. Experience performing quality inspections, testing, or validation activities. Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and manufacturing process optimization. For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
